AMERICORPS VISTA LEGAL ASSISTANTS
Program: Serve New York is the largest multi-site AmeriCorps VISTA Project in the state. Our program works to fight the injustices and causes of poverty that individuals and communities face throughout New York State. With the goal of sustainability in mind, members build capacity within partner organizations in the areas of education, veterans and military families, and economic development.

Benefits: A one year VISTA commitment includes:
• $12,311 Living Allowance
• $5,920 Education Award OR $1,800 Cash Stipend

• Monthly Professional Development
• Non-competitive eligibility status after completion of service
Requirements: Applicants who are selected will serve a one year term from 8/27/2018 – 8/26/2019.
