Having Problems with Public Assistance, Food Stamps or Medicaid?Visit our Self-Help pages!
Have you been Denied, Discontinued or Sanctioned from Public Assistance, Food Stamps and/or Medicaid?Experienced advocates and intake workers help clients by talking with the Department of Social Services. We provide advice and representation at conferences, fair hearings and court. When you contact us an intake worker will ask you for information so we can determine your eligibility for our services. They will also ask you questions about your income, where you live, the number of people in your household, your age and your citizenship.
If you have a requested a fair hearing, the intake work will ask you when it is scheduled. If you have not requested a fair hearing, the intake worker will suggest you request a fair hearing and give you a number to call. |
